For the Triennial of Photography, Hamburg 2015, the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MKG) examined new collections and forms of image usage. The MKG interpreted the future-oriented motto of the Triennial (The day will come) as an opportunity to reflect on the sharing of images, under the title When we share more than ever. More than 200 historical works from its collection were set in counterpoint against twelve contemporary artistic projects. For the exhibition design, we developed a code system similar to a classical archive system. The visitors used a free booklet as a means of navigating through the exhibition. This printed matter give-away was designed so it would also function independently of the exhibition as a catalog.
