The Fat Duck
The Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, England is run by chef Heston Blumenthal. It was first opened in 1995. Blumenthal is famous for his molecular cuisine, and has received three Michelin stars for his experimental dishes. The Fat Duck was also ranked second in the Elite Traveler World's Best Restaurants Guide. The juxtaposition between tradition and innovation, nostalgia and originality was at the core of our design for the brand identity, creating everything from the corporate mark and logotype to menus and cutlery. Most of all, we wanted it to be as playful as Blumenthal's take on food.
