Schacky Art & Advisory was a private gallery and art consultancy that specialized in European and American post-war and contemporary art. It was founded in 2016 by Daniel von Schacky, striking out for himself after ten years at Berlin’s Grisebach Auction House, where he had established and grown the contemporary art division. In 2023 he returned to Grisebach and now acts as the Chairman of the Management Board and largest shareholder and manages the auction house together with Diandra Donecker.

In 2016 we were commissioned to create the corporate design and website for Schacky Art & Advisory. Studio Mahr was also responsible for exhibition catalogs – from layout design to print production – highlighting the featured artwork and providing historical and contextual information to accompany exhibitions. Each catalog was produced as a collectors’ edition, using high quality materials reflecting the art works within. The website and catalogs were often published in multiple languages as key communication tools for overseas clients.
